Lactation Support

Lactation Support That Meets You Where You Are

Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel confusing, painful, or isolating. At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, our lactation support services are designed to support both you and your baby—from the early days after birth through ongoing feeding transitions.

Whether you’re breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or supplementing with formula, our goal is to help you feed your baby with confidence, comfort, and clarity.

What We Help With

Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) support families through a wide range of feeding concerns, including:

  • Painful latch or nipple damage
  • Shallow latch, clicking, leaking, or fussiness at the breast
  • Low milk supply, oversupply, or concerns about milk transfer
  • Slow weight gain or feeding inefficiency
  • Pumping support, flange fitting, and pump troubleshooting
  • Supplementation plans (formula, donor milk, combo feeding)
  • Bottle introduction and bottle refusal
  • Returning to work or pumping schedules
  • Weaning—partial or complete
  • Feeding after tongue tie release or oral restrictions
  • Feeding challenges related to reflux, gas, or tension

No concern is too small. If feeding doesn’t feel right, that’s reason enough to seek support.

A Whole-Body Approach to Lactation

At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, we look beyond just latch and positioning.

Feeding is a full-body skill, and challenges often stem from tension, oral motor differences, or developmental patterns that need gentle support.

  • Our lactation care may include:
  • Comprehensive feeding assessments for parent and baby
  • Oral function evaluation (tongue, lips, jaw, and cheeks)
  • Gentle bodywork techniques (CST/CFT) to support feeding comfort
  • Collaboration with feeding therapy, PT, or OT when appropriate
  • Personalized, realistic feeding plans tailored to your goals

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all feeding advice. Your body, your baby, and your family matter.

We proudly support:
