Many of our children are not born with the tools they need for optimal function, but with hard work and a team behind them (that's us), they learn to thrive. Abeille Speech + Feeding Therapy offers feeding and lactation support, integrative oral function and feeding therapy. craniosacral therapy, myofunctional therapy, and early intervention communication therapy. Our programs strongly focus on using a team approach, finding the root cause of symptoms, and addressing issues throughout the whole body to improve function.

I couldn’t recommend Kayla more! She is so knowledgeable in everything breastfeeding, in transitions to solids, and beyond. Her skill set is far beyond any other practitioner I have worked with or used previously with my first child! The information she provides is so helpful and important to know. Whether you’re a new mom or have been around the block, she can provide new info to help you and your little one! Her initial assessment is the most detailed I have experienced. She really takes the time to learn about you and your baby and make sure she understands/sees the whole picture. I highly recommend!!

I love bringing my daughter to see Jodie! Jodie helped us through our lip/tongue release journey. She made it stress free and really loved on my little one. She has a wealth of knowledge and explains it in a way for me to understand to then implement all the stretches/exercises at home successfully. "Kayla has been my son’s feeding and speech therapist since he was 2 months old. She has worked with him on bottle feeding, spoon feeding, cup drinking and eating solids. He has been able to be successful with his eating and nutrition because of her hard work. He is now 2.5 years old and she continues to help him develop in his speech and communication skills. Kayla has always done such a wonderful job identifying and using his strengths to help him progress in struggling areas, thinking outside the box and doing additional research when needed, providing us with helpful tips and exercises, and building a relationship with him. We love how she meets his individual needs in ways that also work well for our family. We are so thankful to have Kayla as our SLP and feeding therapist!

I highly recommend Kayla at Abeille. My experience treating Ronnie’s lip and tongue tie was so specific to meet our family’s needs, both before and after the procedure to release the ties. Every single session was so beneficial to his success, full of information, treatment, and leaving with immediate actionable steps! We are passionate about helping families improve oral function across the lifespan, starting at birth!
Our own personal experiences as parents of children with oral dysfunction, feeding disorders, and oromyofunctional disorders shed light on the lack of support for families. We are driven to maintain the highest level of care for the families we support by using a collaborative, whole body, integrative approach to treatment.
We are Speech Language Pathologists who specialize in pediatric feeding, swallowing, and oral function throughout the lifespan.
We hold additional certifications and training in Lactation, Oral Sensorimotor Development, Tongue + Lip Ties, Orofacial Myology and Pediatric Feeding Development.
